Company History
Founded in 1974 by Otto Zettl, mimatic began as a cutting tool manufacturer before shifting to driven tooling and adopting the mimatic name in 1984. Since then, the company has grown into an internationally recognized tool systems specialist, with subsidiaries in the USA and China. mimatic has driven several industry innovations — including the mi-interface (2004), eltimon Industry 4.0 technology (2016), and the mimatic ID-tag (2023).
